50/40 Jubilee
Missionary Robert Doolittle & Camp Maranatha.
In 1968 Missionary Robert Doolittle came to Brazil.
He gave his youth, his strength, and his finances for the souls in Brazil
and because of this many were reached for the Lord.
Because of his vision of transforming lives through a camp ministry
he bought Camp Maranatha 1975,
this year marking 40 years of this place.
Lives were touched for salvation,
called to the ministry, santification,
hearts met each other,
and weddings were held here..
We thank the Lord for the 50 years
since Robert Doolittle came to Brazil
and for the 40 years of this ministry that is so close to his heart.
His son, Peter Doolittle has been camp director for 28 years now
and has carried on the ministry with his wife Zirlene
and sons Stanley and Kevin.
With the goal of:
Providing a place where CHRIST is the focus,
and away from the distractions of the world,
Camp Maranatha presents the WORD of God
with the LOVE of God
so that lives may be TRANSFORMED
for the GLORY and PRAISE of our GOD.
